Stories have always been my safe space. A soft place to land - to rest, to breathe. So being able to create the world

I write about the space between light and shadow—the nuance of truth and necessity of balance. I am most myself in the madness of writing.

My characters are messy and rough, and they embody the indomitable human spirit. They bend and bend and bend, and sometimes they break, but they always leave some sort of meaning.

These stories are all versions of me, some exactly, and others are only tiny glimpses of me. But in each of my lead characters, I weave myself into their being to make them come…alive.

DOORS is my debut novel, the first in a trilogy that explores a terrifying question: What happens when what you fear most is what you need the most?

In my world, libraries exist between dimensions. Egyptian death gods fall in love with imperfect mortals. Curses are really blessings. Those most loyal will lead you right into a monster’s dungeon.

Sometimes the end of a story is only the beginning of the journey.

I wrote this book to not look away from pain but to explore the origins of it - when is a monster not a monster? I write stories that let love, fate, and choice compete for control.

This is a story where transformation requires destruction, but destruction is not an ending. The endings are EARNED, and the characters are whole.

Because sadness must always follow anger.

Because grief must always follow rage.

Because shadows must always form in light.

Because hope must always grow in darkness.
